PROBLEM STATEMENT:

Fresh sprouts, being living foods, are prone to microbial contamination. Various incidences are reported with the foodborne disease outbreaks due to sprouts. How to track the Food Safety of Fresh Sprouts in the retail market

DELIVERABLES:

We are looking for innovative ways or new formats to deliver fresh sprouts to customers. Submit an idea to track the food safety of fresh sprouts till it reaches the end consumer. Please Explain :


  • What is your idea to deliver a more desirable consumption experience of fresh sprouts to consumers?
  •           How it is going to the prevent foodborne disease outbreak in fresh sprouts ?

  •      How it tracks the food safety of fresh sprouts till it reaches the end consumer ?

  •      Describe any technology you intend to add with the products and its impact on the product. 

  •      Describe the feasibility of your idea for the company with limited budget.

Report mandates :

(a) A written description of the entire process. 
(b) A picture or artistic rendering of the concept. 
(c) Mention the technology that would be needed (if any)


CONSIDERATIONS

The techniques used should not impact the physio-chemical properties and the nutritional composition of the sprouts.
